Marketing and Communications Coordinator Oakland University, School of Business - Rochester, MI

In the post-pandemic world, I moved to Michigan to be with my then fiancé, now husband. In that time, I found an incredible opportunity at Oakland University in the School of Business Administration. This married my desire to work across varying aspects of the marketing and communication field and my want to work on a college campus. 

In this role I was able to shape the voice and visibility of the school. From overseeing messaging, social media and website content to leading strategic marketing efforts, this position plays a pivotal role in student recruitment, alumni engagement, and business partnerships. I stepped into the Director of Marketing and Communications role for three and a half months, ensuring a seamless transition while maintaining brand consistency. By implementing analytics tools, optimizing digital content, and crafting compelling narratives, I drove the school's mission forward and created a lasting impact in Metro Detroit and beyond.
